This almost completely flat stage takes the riders in a southeast direction. Following the C46 through Ongwediva, the peloton turns onto the B1 at Ondangwa.

The peloton will arrive at the old fort of Namutoni after 184 kilometers, where it will be up to the sprinters to decide who claims the first stage win.
