There are some climbs as the route goes through causeway bridges between islands. The ride goes through West Palm Beach, Ft Lauderdale, many times coming so close to the ocean that you can see parked boats of spectators waiting for the riders to pass by. The race passes by South Beach in Miami and finally with a race finish as the riders arrive through the Skyscrapers of Brickel in downtown Miami.
