Oslo Rundtur is one of the longest running and traditional races in OCM. It starts with a 147k route around Nordmarka (the forest surrounding Oslo), before finishing with two laps of 33k within the city limits of the capital.

The first part around Nordmarka consists of 5 challenging hills, where Sollihøgda is the first. From Sollihøgda the riders continue to Tyrifjorden with views to Utøya, where the terrorist attack of 22 July 2011 happened. The route goes up the hill to Roa and then follows Nittedal and Grorud back to Oslo.

In Oslo, the main challenge of the day awaits the riders as two laps, including the climb up to the Tower of Tryvann, are on the course map. The toughest hill of the day taken on twice is 5.5k at an average gradient of 7%.

The race finishes with a sprint, most likely made up of a small group of riders, on Karl Johans Gate, with views to the Royal Castle and Parliament.
