The time trial starts at famous Oktoberfest grounds, Theresienwiese and follows Implerstraße south in the direction of the zoo. Right behind the zoo is the first steep climb, which every bike rider in Munich fears but needs to surpass to head south towards the mountains. After this first pulse raiser, the route heads towards famous soccer stadium 'Grünwalder Stadion' and continues straight on but now in a little downhill back towards the Isar. We cross the river on 'Wittelsbacher Brücke' and ride downtown to 'Sendlinger Tor', where we take a right to cross the river again and have our next steep incline passing 'Mariahilfplatz'. The route then takes two easy left corners to go down past the famous old swimming hall 'Müllersches Volksbad' and crosses the Isar for the third but not final time. Arriving at Isartor the path takes a right upon luxury shopping street Maximiliansstraße and the riders need to take on the cobbles up to the bavarian government 'Maxmonument'. Up the last steep hill the path takes a left along the beginning of Englischer Garten and then goes left again down the roundabout at 'Friedensengel'. The hard obstacles are now passed and the final 2 kms can be used to watch the surfers on the city wave 'Eisbachwelle'. The final corner is a right onto Ludwigsstraße and by then the finish line can already be seen ahead right in front of the 'Siegestor'.
