Benjamín Michala is a Czech climber who retired from the cycling world in season 13. Michala was a rider with only climbing abilities, and was a contender for the climbing classics and other one day climbing races. He signed for Team WonderDee in season 6, after he was scouted in an amateur race racing for the czech amateur team CK HOBBY.
His first results was in season 8, in the 1th div climbing classic Zürich-Bern-Zürich. A 9th place in a strong field with good climbers like Verner Ulrichsen, CCFC & Ernest Poplar, Babon
The season after he manage to get 2th in Innsbruck-Salzburg. His first win he got in the english race Colchester-Saffron Walden in season 10. In the same season he manage to get a 4th place in the 1th div climbing classic Critérium La Provence.

The next season he signed for American amateur team onebadrunner, but he didn`t stay there for long before he was back in 1th div. The Polish side Legia signed him after two wins for onebadrunner. (Valls - Cambrils and Surtherby GP)
But Michala liked the life in USA, and signed for the 1th div team Team Whalers in season 12. But didn`t stay for more then one season, and moved back to Europe. This time Spain, and the amateur team Vivalverde Team, where he only raced one race. Denau Climbings was his last race before he retired from the cycling world.
