The terrain in Zürich-Bern-Zürich includes many steep and hard climbs and has hard downhills. The terrain hardly includes any hills and has no flat distances. The finishinging climb of the stage is awfully steep and tough, demanding everything from the riders. The route demands a bit of technique from the riders.
