Following the curve of Battery Park, the Brooklyn Bridge emerges before turning west toward Canal St., the heart of Chinatown. North, west, back & forth through lower Manhattan, riders visit; Little Italy, Soho, and Hudson Square, until Greenwich Village and the extremely nasty hair pin left onto 6th Avenue.
Northward on 6th, it’s off to the flatiron & garment districts, then west to the Sea, Air, & Space Museum upon the Hudson River, again. Shy of the Joe DiMaggio Hwy, they travel to Lincoln Square, the west side of the west side story, before fighting east to central park. Once around the greenery, almost, is welcome rest despite the three impending circles, Duke Ellington’s included, before passing the Ed Sullivan Theatre and into the theatre district on Broadway.
Approaching Times Square from the rear, the streets force them left toward Rockefeller Plaza and St. Patrick’s Cathedral then around the final block past the Imperial Theatre. It’s a short finish to the intersection of Broadway and 46th where Times Square’s glory, directly to their left, displays the final results.
