The exciting downhill race takes place in the Black Sea region at northern Turkey, following a narrow path with one side filled by mighty mountains and the other side having the Black Sea with rough sea always ready throw some sea water at the face of the riders passing through. Rough is not only the sea itself but also the route, with climbings with an average of 6-7%, namely three consecutive ones Uzunmusa, Emirli and Boztepe followed by the very same downhill slopes which make it quite difficult and dangerous for riders. The final climb is Cot de Karada? not the steepest of climbs with an average gradient of 9% but 3400 m altitude makes it difficult for riders to resist. The presence of numerous climbs, making the profile look like a saw make the race suitable for breakaways.
