The contenders ability on descents will again be tested with a fast and challenging downhill run before the final climb. Vinhais is famous for its wine and the fortress that will mark the end to this stage. Crucial seconds will be on offer as the riders fighting for the general classification work out how much they have left themselves to do on the remaining stages and crucially the upcoming final timetrial.
