Limburg is host of OCM Top Division hiller's race Ronde van Limburg as the area is also known for it's numerous steep hills.
The race starts in Simpelveld and takes the peloton in a 179 km ride over no less than 17 steep hills in Zuid-Limburg. Amongst them you'll find the famous Eyserbosweg, Keutenberg and Cauberg, as well as lesser known but not less steep hills like Doodeman, Camerich, Gulpenerberg and the climb to Drielandenpunt. This race is perfectly suited for the best hill sprinters of OCM.
The finish line is drawn in the beautiful ancient village Mechelen and invites for a tough flat sprint. Expectedly the hill sprinter that survived the hills best takes the flowers here.
