The riders commence at the Grebbeberg, which was an important battleground during World War II. Defensieweg, the Koerhoevel, the Amerongse Berg and some minor difficulties have to be overcome. After that the race profile is predominantly flat, following the dikes and pastures. The finish line is drawn right in the middle of Rhenen where the riders are welcomed by a cheering crowd.
