The marvellous view of this great fortress from across the Nogat river is what the young U23 riders will see during the start and towards the end of the 26km Time trial.
The terrain around Malbork is flat so it would suit the classic TT-ers. The road is smooth and wide for the first 13 kilometers, but then, after reaching Nowy Staw and on the way back to Malbork riders switch to narrow local roads, with sharper turns and two unguarded level crossings, so they need to stay focused
till the very end.
The race has gained a lot of recognition recenlty and features the best time trailing talents in the peloton. The ones who win here today may become TT world champions tomorrow, so follow their carrers closely!
