Svalbard Trek will finish strongly to this season as Sandijs Semerjaks began his career at Svalbard Trek.
His first race, Lishui Cobblestones, took place on a pouring day in China. Despite this, Semerjaks rode away from the peloton on the early sections of cobble stones. A smaller chase pack pulled him back and he was to finish second in the sprint finish.
In his next one day race he was to break away with a large group on the cobbles of Greece. This time, he was not to be outdone in the sprint finish, taking his first stage win for Trek in scorching heat in Ermioni.
However, after two promotions in a short space of time, the team was to struggle against the stronger teams of division 7. KrasnoarmiisĀ“k Cobblestone Race was Semerjaks first race in the division. And the team could not live with the better teams. Unlike the previous races when team mates had been present at the end, there was no one for him this time. He finished 6th.
We hope to win our final race of the season, Javorina - Vrbov, but know it will be tough and that we have had an excellent season already. Next season we will look to bring in new recruits and continue our path upwards.

Thanks for that....
I like your style of writing, keep up the good work!
Well done. But you would need a younger captain for higher divisions...
