An ecstatic Hoosier State Cycling team celebrated captain Van Landry's first career victory in Norseman-Norseman.
Landry attacked Damian Utrata and Zane Gilcrist on the final climb of the all-rounders race and secured the win after two seasons of second and third place results.
"I'm still in shock. When the attack started earlier today, I didn't expect to end up as winner", said the happy Hoosier State Cycling rider, Van Landry. "Only at the very end, I realized that this could be my chance, and so it was."
Hoosier State Cycling's manager, Clarence Beagle, was satisfied after the result in Norseman - Norseman. "Van Landry did very well today. Everything turned out as we planned it, and Van Landry had the power to win," said the manager.
