On day 38 the signup of the Russian "Perm Tour" starts.
Already 3rd division teams are excited about the opertunity of joining this ex top division tour.
The team SprintingKings is already preparing their star Erwin Caluwé for it.
Erwins weakest point, his time trial skills, have improved remarkable due to some intensive training from the finest TT experts in Denmark. Also the time trial equipment of the team got improved to give Erwin that extra boost for a good general qualification.
The medical staff of the team has confirmed that they even will be able to get Erwin into his best shape ever. Some excact mathemathic training planning will do this trick and will hopefully make Erwin reach his top form at the start of the tour.
The head of our medical institute said that this time they won't make any stupid mistakes in their calculation. (like last time when they ruined Erwins form for Monte Rosa) So we hope he will enter in optimal circumstances.
Therefore our team is going for a stage top three and the general victorie.
Only thing our management is worried about is the possible entry of the top three from last year. These riders with amazing supporting teams are way above our level so that could be quite a challenge especially in achieving top 3.
Although Erwin doesn't seems very impressed. Today he announced to the press:
"Please let that Drejbo come, I'll scare the shit out of him ;)"
Still we hope Drejbo won't enter. But that's something we can not count on.
