Season 70 - youth policy justified?

Written by Fox River at 15:31 19/10-2024

With three jerseys won over the season, Fox River is basking in the glory of its approach to signing and training riders.

Now with the unexpected victory of Isais Zelda in the U23 road race, the club will host a parade celebrating the three jersey winners of the season:

Nemoto Minoru (Japan) - La Génération Future Sprint Champion
Sloane Uppey (Trinidad and Tobago) - Netherlands Tour Youth Champion
Isaías Zelda (São Tomé and Príncipe) - Under 23 World Champion

Also celebrated during the parade will be team leader Loris Gahr, ensured of earning the Swiss National Champion's jersey for the season, and the highest point total for an individual Fox River rider in the history of the club.

Shan Liqing (Hong Kong) and Ferran Makin (U.A.E) will also be celebrated for the contributions on the U23 races and the flat road calendar respectively. The latter was just pipped to the national jersey in the last few days of the season.

Three jerseys in a season. Congratulations!
