Breaking the top 10 barrier?

Written by Team WonderDee at 08:56 15/9-2024

Team WonderDee is on the precipice of a historic achievement, poised to break into the prestigious top 10 of the OCM rankings with just 34 days remaining in the season. Now ranked 14th globally, this accomplishment comes astonishingly from a roster of self-trained riders, showcasing their grit and tenacity.

Central to this push for points is Jef van den Kroon, our cobble captain, who stands as the 7th best rider in the world and has the potential to score crucial points in the remaining races. Complementing him is Alphonsus Ehiorobo, our Nigerian cobbler, whose under-the-radar status may soon change as he navigates a series of races that align perfectly with his strengths. Adding to our optimism is Gale Klaassen, our South African hiller and rising star, whose versatility could translate to pivotal points in the season’s final stretch. Furthermore, our underdog downhill team, anchored by Martin Beier, possesses 3-4 races tailor-made for him to secure top nine placements.

Overall, we find ourselves in the most advantageous position we have ever occupied, bolstered by a blend of seasoned talent and promising newcomers, making this a defining moment for Team WonderDee in our quest to shatter the top 10 barrier.
