After a 3.5 year hiatus from competitive racing, QSM is back. At least for now, because we can never be too sure how long it will last.
We have made our way up to 5th division in no time due to multiple bus drivers and competition-less races in division 11.
Now the more serious stuff starts, seeing that we're no where near good enough yet to compete in division 5.
My first impressions of the game as it is today is that in general the quality of riders and team has gone up on average. Even in the lower divisions you need a good captain with full decent support to have any chance to get top-9's.
We also don't recognize half of the top-teams, but that's the circle of life I guess.
So far I've picked up some guys from the hire list, and next to that I decided I will start with a TT-team, as that might be the easiest/cheapest way to be somewhat competitive in the middle-tier divisions. So we're hoping to add some more old-ass TT'ers to the team until we have 6 of them.
I don't think this is a full-time comeback that will last too long, but let's enjoy it while it lasts.
Let's just pretend it's 2011 again and all will be good.
