Manager Mark was a few weeks unconscious after a cycling crash, so the team was a few weeks without a manager. But he is recovering well, so the team is competing again. His broken elbow and his broken cheekbone will recover, he is getting better everyday. He told the press he is happy with the progress until now, so he will manage his team again. He practiced some cycling on a computer already, his legs are okay. But his elbow and back (broken bone there too) need some time recovering.

Been a while, how are you doing Mark? Fully recovered?
They released me from the rehabilitation centre, so I am at home now and recovery continues at a nearby hospital. Short term memory is affected, but not that much problems with that anymore. I am faster tired, but I can remember what I did today and last week. Details can be a bit fuzzy, but that can recover too (but I have to be patient).
Hey just saw this too. Serious crashes are a horrible thing; I'm glad to hear you are recovering well. Best of luck!
Only just saw this, after the awards results. Good to hear everything is recovering and that it is going well!

Good to hear Mark!
Thanks all, they released me at the revalidation (I had a chamber there) last Wednesday evening. They were surprised I recovered that fast. Revalidation now at a hospital nearby, but I can sleep in my own bed now.
Keep recovering, best wishes!
Just saw this, hope you are doing better! Speedy recovery!
Thanks
Speedy recovery Mark!
Man, that sounds nasty. Hope to see you fully recovered soon!
8.2 km within 15 minutes today (cycling), and can go home (test) next Saturday. Have to return on Sunday. So recovery goes smoothly now.
Oh...wish you recover smoothly, Mark!
Thanks
All the best and hopefully get well soon!
Since yesterday I am allowed to walk again with a nurse. First weeks were scary I can't remember a thing. And I had active legs, but apparently that's something cyclists have, Bram Tankink wrote in his book the same problem, but they were afraid at the hospital I was falling out of bed. But I can cycle again here at the revalitation, so I can train them a bit. Already was a few minutes above 30 km
Wow, that sounds quite scary, good to hear you're doing better already. Hopefully it will be a full recovery!
If it is possible I will be cycling later this year. Although my bike need soms repairs :p
Main thing is not to do any reenactments, particularly in the next year.
Thanks. I am getting better everyday.
Great to see you return!
I hope you recover well and without permanent damage.
There was too much pressure in my skull so they made an extra whole, and there is metal in my elbow. Sometimes I forget names or words, but I think no permanent damage.
My brain is working one week now, I don't know what happened, but my fork broke and a few spokes broke. I was at low speed. They were afraid
Wow, that sounds like a huge crash. What happened? Hope everything heals nice and quick.
Ouch.. get well soon. No permanent damage I hope?
