Jason Harris will hopefully be joined by four domestiques at this year's Under-23 World Championships, including Florian Antpohler and two newcomers from the Bahamas.
Stan Timon and Leith Sullivent, both 22 years old, were both released from Equipo Easy On within the last month. Although they are still young enough to participate in U23 races, both riders have considerable experience for their years and have each participated in a race for their national team.
"As far as short-term investments go, this one is terrific," says Harris, about the signings. They probably won't be around once we all turn 23, but they'll certainly be helpful in the meantime; I'm grateful that management has decided to support me like this. Those guys have more racing experience than I have."
Timon and Sullivent could not be reached for comment, as they were reportedly sent to "urge Eldon Kinstley to finish his job quickly." The quintet of riders anticipate the opportunity to gear up for the World Championships together in a race to Mount Evans later this week.
