Samuel Tarnowski first; Adrien Stanwood second

Many climbs, a sunny day and several attacks shaped the race in Taitung - Nanan Falls (Stage 2 of Taiwan Black Bear Tour). One after another, the riders tried to break away from the main group, though no one could succeed.
When the final climb was near, mapei bianchi and Adrien Stanwood made sure no one could attack by setting a high tempo in the lead. At the end of the climb, only the strongest climbers were in front. With 1.5 kilometres to go, (Alpine) launched an attack, which Adrien Stanwood (AK Pro Race) and Samuel Tarnowski (mapei bianchi) easily countered.
Eustachy Pilarski lost Adrien Stanwood's wheel when the sprint was launched, and Samuel Tarnowski had a close sprint with Adrien Stanwood. Samuel Tarnowski was the fastest in the sprint, leaving Adrien Stanwood only a few inches behind. Eustachy Pilarski, who had no power left for the sprint, secured his third place only 3 seconds later.
I'm happy the team picked me for the stage. I knew I could do it (win), and I wanted to prove it as well, said the happy winner who continued with a smile on his face: My preparations were perfect, I had a perfect day, and I won!.
The stage couldn't turn out any better than this. Samuel Tarnowski did a perfect job today, said virenque, manager of mapei bianchi, after the race.
