Team EHG's Jørgen Meisner defeated his nearest competitors when the peloton arrived at the finishing line in Stage 2 of Copa de la Historia de los Andes. Abdoul Atcham from Silver Giant opened the sprint with Jørgen Meisner right behind him, though Abdoul Atcham had no chance to follow his competitors when Jørgen Meisner boosted ahead. Jørgen Meisner won the stage only a few inches ahead of English Sprinting Team's Shimon Samuels who took the second place. Abdoul Atcham barely held his position as third.
Jørgen Meisner was happy for his victory in Stage 2 of Copa de la Historia de los Andes. I've trained a lot and aimed to win this race, and now suddenly it happened! said the satisfied winner.
